I was reflecting on yesterday’s study,
The Sabbath , shared by Dantes in The Bible Only room on Paltalk, and the following verses came to mind which apparently relate to the work that profanes the Sabbath. Do not these verses confirm what it means to defile the Sabbath as it relates to doing “thine own work”? Is it not also revealed that the fire of God's wrath is upon "those" wh…

It appears that the "Biblical calendar" though having its purpose in times past as a guide for literal ceremonial events instituted by the Lord as shadows, figures or examples of spiritual things is not the that which we are to look to as a guide once those events have found spiritual fulfillment. The calendar, seems to me, though used of God "yesterday" to mark times for literal events and ceremonial observances has ended since those events or observances have been or are being fulfilled today.…

Jerusalem Compassed by Armies..
Lu 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Is a parable an "earthly story with a heavenly meaning" ? Is it truly a lesson related to earthly Jerusalem to be understood only by heavenly Jerusalem and, as such, must be interpreted/expounded/revealed spiritually by the Holy Spirit? Is this how the Bible defines it? Let's see....

Hi Everyone,
How can we accept anything else other than what the authority of the Bible, the Word of God, explains as unto whom the end has come that "dwells upon ' many waters"", and will "fill with men "as with" caterpillars"? How can we view verses as in Rev 9 literally as well as according to how the Holy Ghost teaches (1 Cor 2:13), and still find peace & harmony? Do you think it is possible that the Word (the Bible) is today acting as that angel or a fixed gulf separating two camps or…

Hi. I have been following discussions in Yahoo groups and Paltak chat rooms in respect to whether the Bible, the law of God, is to be received literally or spiritually. A few questions have come to mind and thus my search to find out what is true. Is the Bible 100% parabolic, meant to be understood spiritually by only the elect? Is literal the same as carnal, fleshly or earthy? Thus, when we look at (understand ) the Bible literally, are we perceiving with a carnal or earthy mind? Even though th…

Hi. I am examining what the visitation of the Lord entails? Is it spiritual or literal? Does the language point to a visitation that is particular to the elect and non-elect body of the churches or the whole physical world?
Ex 34:5 ¶ And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Hi. I have decided to take a look at what is meant by "it is not for you to know" which appears to be similar to "no man knoweth" . My mind has usually been inclined to think of "knowing" having the same meaning as knowing when it is going to rain or knowing my age or such easy literal interpretations.. the kind of knowing that is the result of stored social information in the natural mind. However, is the Bible using that literal meaning or have I substituted worldly thinking for spiritual disc…

I have come to view the ten virgins in Luke 12:35-40 as sleeping or not watching when "the Lord cometh", but have been reviewing this in the light of other verses. The questions that are arising in my reflections are these…
Is the awaking of the virgins the same as the pouring out of the Spirit as we read in Ezek 37 or with revelation of Jesus Christ, or does the awaking takes place before? Is watching synonymous with waiting or being ready? How different is the response of the Lord to those wh…

May the the Holy Spirit be gracious as we seek further wisdom and understanding as we revisit "the sabbath" by searching the scriptures. This, as all my blogs, are a sharing of a few scriptures found in searching that appear to compare as I consider a particular subject of interest. According to the Lord's will, may He give spiritual understanding and faith.

Are tribulation and wrath synonymous of the same event or are there differences between the two? How does the body (wheat and tares) relate to these events? Do they take place at the same time or is there a timing by which these events (if seen as separate) unfold? just a few of the questions under consideration as I continue to search the scriptures for truth by the grace of the Lord....

As always, my blogs are searchings in scriptures comparing spiritual with spiritual in an effort to find Truth. They are in continual review and not set to be authoritative beyond any direct quoting of scripture. Christ is the King, Husband, Teacher, Master and Shepherd and may He alone be exalted. (Ezek 37:24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.)
